Margo
I am on a spiritual journey of faith. I am hungry to know God more. However, when I read the stories of the great men and women of faith, I read that they came to learn the most about God through deep trials as they sought to do God's work of the kingdom - taking the gospel to the ends of the earth, starting with their own Jerusalem. When I was an active missionary,I was still growing in my faith and walk with God and knew precious little of suffering "for Jesus' sake." The trials that I experience today are nothing compared to what our pioneer "missionaries" faced 50 and 100 years ago. We are missing so much!
